Callie and Phil: Shenandoah National Park Engagement

2019-05-28_0112.jpg

I have a hard-core photographer crush on Callie and Phil. There, I said it.

Seriously, these two are SO GOOD IN FRONT OF THE CAMERA there just aren’t words to describe it. Their entire session was absolute FIRE. Fire, I tell you!

We met up on Skyline Drive in Shenandoah National Park for their session right as the sun was hitting that point in the sky where it makes everything glowwwwwww and immediately Callie and Phil were rocking it. I remember after we did the first set of photos I showed them the back of the camera (so they could see how good they looked) and Callie exclaimed “I thought we were gonna look so awkward!!!! This is incredible!”. Which naturally made my photographer heart sing. But that was just the beginning.

We ventured around, I got a baby slug in my shoe (traumatic but I have since recovered), and the photos just kept getting better. It didn’t hurt that they were BOTH so into it. Usually one of the partners in any given couple is more shy in front of the camera, but not these two. Pretty sure Phil could spend his whole life in front of the camera and never complain ;p

At one point I even recall him saying “Oh yeah, I like this shot. It’s gonna make my bicep look so good.”

Same man, same.

Their wedding next April seems too far away but I cannot. freaking. wait.

Until then I have these photos to tide me over. * sigh *

Scroll and enjoy!
